Cuffed Sweatshirt

You can take a plain sweat shirt and add an applique letter.
But, to make it a bit more special, why not cuff it!

*************************

Cut off about 3 more inches.
Measure the new sleeve end.
Cut a rectangle of fabric.
One side is double the measurement you just took.
The other side is double the depth of the cuff you want.
Sew up the side that is the depth of the cuff with right sides together.
Fold over, wrong sides together, serge or zig-zag.
 Stitch to end of sleeve.
 Use a quarter in seam.
Fold right side out.

You can also add smaller cuffs.
